Hello It's been a busy week so far many new things but one of the better items on my list was being able to swim. Yeah! haven't been able to swim since 9/9/11.I loved it.
Now what is Pain? We all understand hitting our thumb with a hammer pain that's easy. But Pain from how the written word of God explains it:
The Bible has many different words to express what Pain is. Hebrew and Greek says Pain is Anguish,Sorrow,Affliction,Grief,Hurt,Anger,Wrath,Indignation,Wounded,Plagued,Sore,Stripe.Suffering, To make Sad, Fettered And Many times God's Word speaks of Pain being like childbirth. Wow! How many of us have felt any or all of these feelings at one time or another in our lives,How many of them came at us not one at a time but groups attacking us and trying to beat us down.
Pain from loss,Pain from injury,Pain from neglect and pain from abuse it all is there in our hearts and we can be lifted up from our pit of pain and reach out to Jesus whom bore our pain,God's wrath and by His Stripes we are Healed. We can become UN-fettered from the chains that bind us. Jesus's Blood was shed for you and me.
So today as many of us start our day with pain ( as I do each day)Both You and I can trust in Jesus to help us function and know that we can be happy that God has a plan of redemption for each of us.

What is Faith?
We all seek it ,we all think about it but how many of us understand it? Very few I believe. Jesus taught about Faith. we all know Heb.11:1 and the bible speaks of Faith
(Heb 11:1 [NET])
Now faith is being sure of what we hope for, being convinced of what we do not see.
Faith/ goes back to Greek as To rely on,assurance,belief,to convince
Being sure/Substance/ Concrete assurance,having confidence, setting under having support
Hope for/ to expect,to trust,to anticipate with pleasure
Evidence being convinced/ Proof,conviction
Things-what/deeds ,ideas,business matters
Seen/ To look at, perceive
With all that in your mind remember Peter and how he was around Jesus.
The story about when Jesus walked to their boat one nite and all the guys freaked out and thought Jesus was a ghost and Jesus reassured them that he was real and in the flesh and then He called
Peter and Peter did it and as he walked to Him he began to sink into the water and Peter cried out for Jesus and Jesus didn't push Peter away but reached out and grabbed his hand and they walked back to the boat together and climbed in.
So REJOICE,REJOICE we have a way of salvation.

God's truth
Good Morning to you! Today is a great day.
I would like to share today. At our church NLCC in Woodstock,IL. Pastor Scott has started a men's group called "Ironmen." which is very right for these trying times. As men we should be guiding our families in the paths of wisdom by example and to share Jesus Christ whom lives in us. As men we need to be held accountable to God First, then to our families and then to ourselves.
With all that in mind Proverbs 27:17 is the verse that explains a bit about men being men.
"Iron Sharpens Iron so a man sharpens the countenance of His Friend." You may go Huh,or what does that mean?
Breaking it down to the Hebrew root words it becomes better understood.
Iron = Any cutting edge,like a Ax-head.
Sharpens = To be made sharp,to be fierce,to be severe
Man = Husband,Champion,Good man, Fellow,Steward
Countenance = The part that turns,Face,appears,battle,anger
Friend = Associate,Brother,Companion,Husband,Lover,Neighbor
Brothers in Christ!WAKE UP! Take a hold of your birthright to be real men. We are to watch out for each other as Christian men ,to not lose our edge,Integrity ,accountability ,responsibility and looking deep into yourselves and being honest and then making a commitment to be aware of our actions and to control or channel our emotions and behaviors to become examples of real men in our homes, our Jobs,or schools as God's Holy Word shows us.
That in being a biblical man we become the see thru man and in having fierceness we can channel our ways closer to God's ideas of living and being children of God that entails daily work in bible reading and in studying and learning everything that the Bible speaks to us.
What we have to do is apply what God says and when you do that many things happen. You instantly become aware of changes you may need to do in your life,you want to change and you hunger for communion with Jesus,You Pray, trusting in Jesus for every thing. Walk by Faith and being Filled with the Holy Spirit.

On Fire for Christ
This is going to be more of a personal note to you all instead of bible verse's.
The past few days I have been praying in tongues and studying God's word and I find it very exciting to say to those out there that think becoming a Christian means you become some sort of boring,bland type of person.Well I can say with every bit of me that that is just a lie from the enemy to keep some away from being saved.
My life has changed so dramatically in these past 12 months it is amazing,wild and certainly never boring or bland, I can say that walking with Christ has opened my heart,mind and soul to the unlimited possibility's that await both Laura & I .
Yes being Christian comes with guidelines but these"rules" as some may say are not a burden and walking with Christ is not a heavy yoke to bear.
Yes we are changed! To be different,to be examples,to live in a way that goes against the world's views and immoral ways. That's OK by me because the rewards here and now and those that await us in Heaven are worth it and that is what has been revealed to Laura & I.
I will say many of the things I used to do were not good.The time I wasted on TV shows that were mindless dribble and the way words came out of my mouth were garbage.But because of Jesus I asked myself would Jesus sit down with me and watch some of the TV shows that I used to watch or would He talk with people using slang and F-bombs all the time? Well I got a big fat NO! to those questions.
But you say Carl what ever do you do with your free time now?
Here's the fun part! I enjoy doing life things that are positive and uplifting things that make my soul sing,sing to Jesus the joys of being one of His and knowing it in a way that will never be shaken or taken from me.Each day I study The Word of God and the Bible has become alive with all the passages,books,parables that really are alive in me. I wake up and see God's creation with crisp,clean outlook and I know I am LOVED by Jesus and I am Loved by A Godly,righteous woman that God had waiting for me when it was His time for us to meet.Jesus will fill up your day and He will fill your life to overflowing abundantly, poured out where you cannot contain it. have a great day Pax CH

Praise's to God UPDATE 1
UPDATE: @ 1630 hrs I received a call from a dear friend who has been delivered from a struggle, and a situation that was defeating His soul. My friend has been dealing with this event for many months and Jesus was able to use me and Laura my wife to assist him,Pray with him and help him in this situation. sometimes multiple times in a day. He would call us or email us for needed strengh and encouragement,comfort and prayer. Jesus heard our prayers Amen.
I am rejoicing that he has been delivered and he has been restored to where God wants him to be and that I have never see,heard this man be so animated and happy. He has become a renewed creature in Christ Jesus. Halleluiah, GLORY BE THE GREAT GOD JEHOVAH Thank you Jesus for your tender mercies.

seek ye first clearer part 1
The beatitudes as we know them as Jesus gave us examples on how not to be or be. Don't.be like those who are unsaved, not knowing Jesus. I know I did bounce around a bit and tried to cover many points but I wanted you all to read Matthew 5 - 6 for yourselves and come to the understanding that Jesus is the only way to the Father whom lives in Heaven and in order for us to be there with Him we must be saved. And down here on earth amongst all the world throws at us it is hard to be strong and bold for Christ. Trusting Jesus is about not worrying about how,why,what or where will we live or what will I eat,wear,what will my life be like and if you become consumed by anxiousness and strife you lose your focus on Christ. And if you don't know Jesus I showed what the bible says about salvation. So if any questions are out there share them.Thank You
Seek Ye First!
Sorry folks I was just a bit under the weather these past few days but God has healed me now and I am better. Good morning to all you all.
This morning I wake up and God impresses on me. This verse in Matthew 6:33
Matthew 6: 33 But above all pursue his kingdom and righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
Jesus was preaching,teaching to a multitude of people which breaks down to a throng, a company of people I believe that were too many to count.
Jesus laid out in easy to understand ways simple guidelines of how christian folks are to be in every facet of our lives, from personal,business relationships and how to Pray,how to witness to the world and how to be concerned about our daily bread.
He starts out by saying we are Blessed in Greek which means to be fortunate,well off,happier, and to be supremely blessed and after being blessed we are to be rejoicing,to jump for joy being cheerful,calmly happy,to become exceeding glad. What does that make you think of? It makes me think as a child how I would react about Christmas and the giving and Getting of gifts and when I would open the one gift that I really wanted. I did jump for joy, be exceeding glad bursting at the seams. That's how we are to be about Jesus as one of His.
Now being followers of Jesus Christ and believers Jesus tells us where are rewards are not here on earth but our rewards are great and they await us in Heaven.
We are admonished to be like salt to have wisdom.having sound judgement, and be prudence in our lives and if we don't live that way we will lose our savor,to act as if we are simpletons, we lose our edge. Proverbs 10:10 we are held to be accountable
Our Lord and Savior speaks of us as Christians we are Lights to be like fire, to shine brilliantly, to not hide ourselves from providing ourselves as witness's of the Power of the Blood of the Lamb.
and we get then to the meat of Jesus's message "seek ye first" and all of the things mentioned in chapters Matthew 5 and Matthew 6 will be given unto you , fellow believers in Jesus Christ.
So if you have read all this and looked into Matthew you might ask yourself.
How do I become a follower of Jesus? What must I speak or how much do I paid for this?
It is the easiest thing to do it costs you nothing because Jesus has paid the price.and you don't need fancy or big words and you don't need to be in a church to do it.
ALL you need to do is tell Jesus that you are a sinner and that w/o Jesus you are going to hell and the Blood Jesus shed for you has brought your soul and in asking Jesus into your life,heart,mind,soul you become "A new creation in Christ Jesus and old ways your old sin nature has been removed."2nd Corinthians 5:17
Then tell someone,leave a note to me, call your Mom, talk to a Pastor of a Bible-believing church that you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and be jumping for joy for your name is now written in the Book of Life in Heaven. Right now Angels are rejoicing, Jumping for joy that one of you have accepted Jesus.
AMEN Hallelujah Jehovah my God
