Train wrecks or wrong teachings

How many of us go to church and sit there and take in all that is being preached, taught about and we just sit there and wag our heads in agreement and then leave and never think about or study what was said. Or how many of us listen and write, take notes and go home and get into what was said and check it out against the Word of God ,digging deeper into Greek,Hebrew meanings. We can't be complacence any more. There is many false, wrong teachers out there leading many astray and leading people into Hell.

Don't us as Christians sit idly by and watch as many walk past us with smiles on their faces as they jump into the Lake of Fire. We have to do something! We must call out the lairs, deceivers, false prophets and teachers and stand up for what Jesus really taught! DO YOU FEEL RESPONSIBLE you should. Yes many are called by God/Jesus and those folks are saved but my question is this how many of you are chosen?
Chosen to be called out and chosen to speak the truth about God's Word. If you know it in your soul then DO something don't let the bus leave w/o you on it. Be like John the Baptist or like Peter or like Paul. If God has placed a burning coal upon your lips then be a spokesperson in your church, town, job, village,or home. Honor God first and Honor His ways and don't lack an answer when someone asks you about Jesus. Study God's words and let the Holy Spirit use you and help you speak as needed..

                                                  BE BOLD STAND FOR JESUS
or you may wake up some day with no rights to speak the name above all names

Are you transparent?

February 11th
More on Grace and Spiritual Fruit
Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. (John 15:4-5)

Although these verses do not mention grace, they are a classic biblical explanation of grace bringing forth fruit in lives. The language depicts an actual vineyard, where fruit grows on branches that are properly related to a vine. Then, this physical reality is applied figuratively to spiritual fruit developing in our lives, if we are relating correctly to Jesus.
In this teaching, our Lord reminds us that literal branches are not able to produce fruit themselves. "The branch cannot bear fruit of itself." We are spiritual branches, so we will not be able to produce fruit either. "Neither can you, unless you abide in Me." In fact, our potential for manufacturing genuine spiritual fruit is zero. "Without Me you can do nothing." The best we could ever hope to produce would be religious, wax fruit. Such would come from our fleshly attempts to appear godly or effective. People may be fooled by this, but God never will be. Furthermore, people cannot be edified by partaking of such, and God cannot be glorified.
True fruit results from the ongoing development of life. Life is only innate to vines, not branches. For a grape to develop on any grape branch, the life of the vine must flow into, and work within, the branch. So it is with us. "I am the vine, you are the branches." This distinction is vital. We must never forget the difference, if we desire to bear fruit. The life we need for fruitfulness is in Him, not in us.
How do we avail ourselves of that life which is essential for fruit? "Abide in Me, and I in you." We are to look to Jesus for life, counting on Him to live in and through us. Then, His life, working in us, brings forth Christlike fruit. How do we know if we are abiding? If we are willing to depend upon Jesus for spiritual fruit as a grape branch relies upon its vine for grapes, then we are truly abiding in Christ. Such dependency brings valid expectation for great measures of Christlikeness to be developing in and through our lives. "He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit."
This is clearly grace at work, as seen in the relational realities of humility and faith. Humility is operating as we acknowledge "without Me you can do nothing." Faith is exercised as we believe "that He who abides in Me…bears much fruit."
Lord Jesus, my true vine, I humbly agree with You that I cannot produce spiritual fruit on my own. I admit that apart from You at work in me, I could never manifest any genuine godliness. So, with great expectation I look to You to provide the life I need for much fruitfulness, Amen.

“And they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.”
Acts 4:13

A Christian should be a striking likeness of Jesus Christ. You have read lives of Christ, beautifully and eloquently written, but the best life of Christ is his living biography, written out in the words and actions of his people. If we were what we profess to be, and what we should be, we should be pictures of Christ; yea, such striking likenesses of him, that the world would not have to hold us up by the hour together, and say, “Well, it seems somewhat of a likeness;” but they would, when they once beheld us, exclaim, “He has been with Jesus; he has been taught of him; he is like him; he has caught the very idea of the holy Man of Nazareth, and he works it out in his life and every-day actions.” A Christian should be like Christ in his boldness. Never blush to own your religion; your profession will never disgrace you: take care you never disgrace that. Be like Jesus, very valiant for your God. Imitate him in your loving spirit; think kindly, speak kindly, and do kindly, that men may say of you, “He has been with Jesus.” Imitate Jesus in his holiness. Was he zealous for his Master? So be you; ever go about doing good. Let not time be wasted: it is too precious. Was he self-denying, never looking to his own interest? Be the same. Was he devout? Be you fervent in your prayers. Had he deference to his Father’s will? So submit yourselves to him. Was he patient? So learn to endure. And best of all, as the highest portraiture of Jesus, try to forgive your enemies, as he did; and let those sublime words of your Master, “Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do,” always ring in your ears. Forgive, as you hope to be forgiven. Heap coals of fire on the head of your foe by your kindness to him. Good for evil, recollect, is godlike. Be godlike, then; and in all ways and by all means, so live that all may say of you, “He has been with Jesus.”

What do people see in you? How are your actions/words looked at? Can those whom watch you tell who lives in you?
These are all questions we all ask when we meet someone new or when someone makes a stand about what they believe in. We watch ,we listen, we keep track. because we are human and because we always try to figure out Why? also we look harder on someone who radically changes their way of life because we want to see if their are true or real to the "New" way of life that they are proclaiming.
The only way for any change to become real in our lives is to have Jesus and to have a indwelling of the Holy Spirit.
We can do nothing w/o Jesus in our lives we bear no fruit in this life w/o Jesus.Yes we all can walk in this world and be famous, rich, poor, and live w/much excesses but what are you doing for the Kingdom of God and I don't mean just talking about it I mean what do you do each day in a way that when the time comes when we all stand before God and He asks us "What did you do to get people to know my Son Jesus?" And all the things, jobs, money and worldly ideas and thoughts will matter not then. How will you or I answer? We could say we gave to the church or that we did good deeds or we lived a quiet and uneventful life. That will not cut it as God sees it.
1st have you accepted Jesus as your Saviour 2nd What did you do with that knowledge? 3rd How did you live/act/treat others after getting Jesus in you.
Now yes you can be assured a place in Heaven just by being saved but a greater life is to be lived when you give your all to the King of Kings and live for Him all the rest of your days of your life. THAT way you give God the Glory and give Him your Praises.
YOU MUST LIVE AS IF YOU ARE TRANSPARENT and that everyone can see everything, thoughts, deeds, feelings, actions, words that are in you. LIVE FOR JESUS! Pax Carl

How many will understand?

1 Corinthians 14 1-5
Speak in Ways That Can Be Understood
1Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially the gift of speaking what God has revealed. 2When a person speaks in another language, he doesn’t speak to people but to God. No one understands him. His spirit is speaking mysteries. 3But when a person speaks what God has revealed, he speaks to people to help them grow, to encourage them, and to comfort them.4When a person speaks in another language, he helps himself grow. But when a person speaks what God has revealed, he helps the church grow. 5I wish that all of you could speak in other languages, but especially that you could speak what God has revealed. The person who speaks what God has revealed is more important than the person who speaks in other languages. This is true unless he can interpret what he says to help the church
1Pursue the love, and seek earnestly the spiritual things, and rather that ye may prophecy,
 2for he who is speaking in an [unknown] tongue -- to men he doth not speak, but to God, for no one doth hearken, and in spirit he doth speak secrets;
 3and he who is prophesying to men doth speak edification, and exhortation, and comfort;
 4he who is speaking in an [unknown] tongue, himself doth edify, and he who is prophesying, an assembly doth edify;
5and I wish you all to speak with tongues, and more that ye may prophecy, for greater is he who is prophesying than he who is speaking with tongues, except one may interpret, that the assembly may receive edification.

Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather so that ye may prophesy.2For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God, for no man understandeth him, however it may be that in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.3But he that prophesieth, speaketh unto men for edification and exhortation and comfort. 4He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself, but he that prophesieth edifieth the church.5I would that ye all spoke with tongues, but rather that ye prophesied; for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, unless he interpret, that the church may receive
edifying.

How many of us really understand what Paul writes about using tongues. Each of us are given by the Holy Spirit a way to intercede to God and to speak and express our prayers. When we pray in tongues this is our personal, private, intimate way to help in edifying ourselves and as Paul writes when someone prays in a group, meeting, church, assembly, gathering of believers and they speak in tongues someone must interpret that spoken words that way the whole group, congregation, church is built up and encouraged by the message God reveals. Too many people and too many groups have twisted and changed Paul's writings and taken so much out of context. We Need To return to The Whole Truth of God's Word and to Teach, Learn and to be  Lead by the Holy Spirit and never be sidetracked or confused again. Thank You

God's words/Be Amazed!

(1Cor 14:1 [NET])
Pursue love and be eager for the spiritual gifts, especially that you may prophesy.

(1Cor 14:2 [NET])
For the one speaking in a tongue does not speak to people but to God, for no one understands; he is speaking mysteries by the Spirit.

(1Cor 14:3 [NET])
But the one who prophesies speaks to people for their strengthening, encouragement, and consolation.

(1Cor 14:4 [NET])
The one who speaks in a tongue builds himself up, but the one who prophesies builds up the church.

(1Cor 14:5 [NET])
I wish you all spoke in tongues, but even more that you would prophesy. The one who prophesies is greater than the one who speaks in tongues, unless he interprets so that the church may be strengthened.

Some of you may at one time or another have heard someone speaking in what sounds like complete confusion and a bunch of sounds that are not of this world. If you haven't had the chance to be at a church that believes and works in the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. I will try to help you understand. The bible is the source of all our answers to our questions. And one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit are speaking in Tongues which breaks down to mean a language not naturally acquired, as the scriptures state it is God's words that He places in you.  And this speaking is communication between you and God unless someone in your church interprets what was said. Also as you can read the bible gives us understanding about what it is supposed to do.
For Edification which means encouragement, building up,to exhort,a urgent request for help, solace.

But at the beginning we must earnestly seek, covet, desire, have a zeal (a enthusiastic devotion, tireless diligence for something,to have a fire, passion, fevour, keenness for the Gifts of the Holy Spirit.
The last verse tells us the church or the Body of Christ should receive the words. And to receive means to take,to get it a hold of,accept, and the one Ilike the best is to be AMAZED!
Are you amazed in the church you are at? If not find one and stick with it and grow and learn and RECEIVE   the gifts God has for you.

What should we do?

(2Chr 20:6 [NET])
He prayed: “O LORD God of our ancestors, you are the God who lives in heaven and rules over all the kingdoms of the nations. You possess strength and power; no one can stand against you.

(2Chr 20:7 [NET])
Our God, you drove out the inhabitants of this land before your people Israel and gave it as a permanent possession to the descendants of your friend Abraham.

(2Chr 20:12 [NET])
Our God, will you not judge them? For we are powerless against this huge army that attacks us! We don’t know what we should do; we look to you for help.”

(2Chr 20:13 [NET])
All the men of Judah were standing before the LORD, along with their infants, wives, and children.

(2Chr 20:14 [NET])
Then in the midst of the assembly, the LORD’s Spirit came upon Jachaziel son of Zechariah, son of Benaiah, son of Jeiel, son of Mattaniah, a Levite and descendant of Asaph.

(2Chr 20:15 [NET])
He said: “Pay attention, all you people of Judah, residents of Jerusalem, and King Jehoshaphat! This is what the LORD says to you: ‘Don’t be afraid and don’t panic because of this huge army! For the battle is not yours, but God’s.

(2Chr 20:16 [NET])
Tomorrow march down against them as they come up the Ascent of Ziz. You will find them at the end of the ravine in front of the Desert of Jeruel.

(2Chr 20:17 [NET])
You will not fight in this battle. Take your positions, stand, and watch the LORD deliver you, O Judah and Jerusalem. Don’t be afraid and don’t panic! Tomorrow march out toward them; the LORD is with you!’”

(2Chr 20:18 [NET])
Jehoshaphat bowed down with his face toward the ground, and all the people of Judah and the residents of Jerusalem fell down before the LORD and worshiped him.

(2Chr 20:19 [NET])
Then some Levites, from the Kohathites and Korahites, got up and loudly praised the LORD God of Israel.

(2Chr 20:20 [NET])
Early the next morning they marched out to the Desert of Tekoa. When they were ready to march, Jehoshaphat stood up and said: “Listen to me, you people of Judah and residents of Jerusalem! Trust in the LORD your God and you will be safe! Trust in the message of his prophets and you will win.”

(2Chr 20:21 [NET])
He met with the people and appointed musicians to play before the LORD and praise his majestic splendor. As they marched ahead of the warriors they said: “Give thanks to the LORD, for his loyal love endures.”

(2Chr 20:22 [NET])
When they began to shout and praise, the LORD suddenly attacked the Ammonites, Moabites, and men from Mount Seir who were invading Judah, and they were defeated.

(2Chr 20:23 [NET])
The Ammonites and Moabites attacked the men from Mount Seir and annihilated them. When they had finished off the men of Seir, they attacked and destroyed one another.

What should we do in this life? As we face many armies of the world and of the evil one Many have forgotten how, why, and to whom stands for us and with us. The Almighty God, Jehovah, Our Provider.

What was the very first thing the king did when he was told of the many armies that where come against him. He PRAYED to the Lord and he asked God to intervene And as he prayed he told God how powerless they were and he had all the people stand with him in agreement. As God replied thru His prophet "For the battle is not yours ,but it is the Lord's. That's what we need to do give all concern's,worries, battles to the Lord in prayer and not try to go alone into the valleys of darkness's. Then next ALL the people worshiped and bowed down to the Lord. They acknowledged God Sovereignty and His Awesome Power. Then some of them LOUDLY Praised God.As the next day started the king reminded them to Trust in the Lord. That built their Faith up as they marched into battle all the time giving thanks and singing to God.

Now do we read of any who did  say. Oh Maybe God will take care of these enemies. Or is our Faith big enough to assure victory? No way! they believed that God would deal with everything for the success of the Israelite's.

So for us as Christians to walk weakly, and w/o any strength in our Faith or to not be believing that God can do any thing necessary to assist us or to guide us in a powerful way. That has to stop. We have to remove the shackles that have stopped us from living boldly for Christ. What is it going to take before the Body of Christ wakes up! We need to send a message to the world and to the enemies of Christ. Watch out we are becoming united under Jesus Christ, an army of God that will not be stopped. And as in the days of old many will rise up and speak the words that God places in their mouth's and we will defend what God has put into our hands for His Glory and Honor. TIME TO BECOME WHAT GOD HAS CALLED YOU AND I TO DO! Are you ready? Call upon the name above all names ,Jesus is His name and give yourself to Him.   Pax Carl
