What should we do?

(2Chr 20:6 [NET])
He prayed: “O LORD God of our ancestors, you are the God who lives in heaven and rules over all the kingdoms of the nations. You possess strength and power; no one can stand against you.

(2Chr 20:7 [NET])
Our God, you drove out the inhabitants of this land before your people Israel and gave it as a permanent possession to the descendants of your friend Abraham.

(2Chr 20:12 [NET])
Our God, will you not judge them? For we are powerless against this huge army that attacks us! We don’t know what we should do; we look to you for help.”

(2Chr 20:13 [NET])
All the men of Judah were standing before the LORD, along with their infants, wives, and children.

(2Chr 20:14 [NET])
Then in the midst of the assembly, the LORD’s Spirit came upon Jachaziel son of Zechariah, son of Benaiah, son of Jeiel, son of Mattaniah, a Levite and descendant of Asaph.

(2Chr 20:15 [NET])
He said: “Pay attention, all you people of Judah, residents of Jerusalem, and King Jehoshaphat! This is what the LORD says to you: ‘Don’t be afraid and don’t panic because of this huge army! For the battle is not yours, but God’s.

(2Chr 20:16 [NET])
Tomorrow march down against them as they come up the Ascent of Ziz. You will find them at the end of the ravine in front of the Desert of Jeruel.

(2Chr 20:17 [NET])
You will not fight in this battle. Take your positions, stand, and watch the LORD deliver you, O Judah and Jerusalem. Don’t be afraid and don’t panic! Tomorrow march out toward them; the LORD is with you!’”

(2Chr 20:18 [NET])
Jehoshaphat bowed down with his face toward the ground, and all the people of Judah and the residents of Jerusalem fell down before the LORD and worshiped him.

(2Chr 20:19 [NET])
Then some Levites, from the Kohathites and Korahites, got up and loudly praised the LORD God of Israel.

(2Chr 20:20 [NET])
Early the next morning they marched out to the Desert of Tekoa. When they were ready to march, Jehoshaphat stood up and said: “Listen to me, you people of Judah and residents of Jerusalem! Trust in the LORD your God and you will be safe! Trust in the message of his prophets and you will win.”

(2Chr 20:21 [NET])
He met with the people and appointed musicians to play before the LORD and praise his majestic splendor. As they marched ahead of the warriors they said: “Give thanks to the LORD, for his loyal love endures.”

(2Chr 20:22 [NET])
When they began to shout and praise, the LORD suddenly attacked the Ammonites, Moabites, and men from Mount Seir who were invading Judah, and they were defeated.

(2Chr 20:23 [NET])
The Ammonites and Moabites attacked the men from Mount Seir and annihilated them. When they had finished off the men of Seir, they attacked and destroyed one another.

What should we do in this life? As we face many armies of the world and of the evil one Many have forgotten how, why, and to whom stands for us and with us. The Almighty God, Jehovah, Our Provider.

What was the very first thing the king did when he was told of the many armies that where come against him. He PRAYED to the Lord and he asked God to intervene And as he prayed he told God how powerless they were and he had all the people stand with him in agreement. As God replied thru His prophet "For the battle is not yours ,but it is the Lord's. That's what we need to do give all concern's,worries, battles to the Lord in prayer and not try to go alone into the valleys of darkness's. Then next ALL the people worshiped and bowed down to the Lord. They acknowledged God Sovereignty and His Awesome Power. Then some of them LOUDLY Praised God.As the next day started the king reminded them to Trust in the Lord. That built their Faith up as they marched into battle all the time giving thanks and singing to God.

Now do we read of any who did  say. Oh Maybe God will take care of these enemies. Or is our Faith big enough to assure victory? No way! they believed that God would deal with everything for the success of the Israelite's.

So for us as Christians to walk weakly, and w/o any strength in our Faith or to not be believing that God can do any thing necessary to assist us or to guide us in a powerful way. That has to stop. We have to remove the shackles that have stopped us from living boldly for Christ. What is it going to take before the Body of Christ wakes up! We need to send a message to the world and to the enemies of Christ. Watch out we are becoming united under Jesus Christ, an army of God that will not be stopped. And as in the days of old many will rise up and speak the words that God places in their mouth's and we will defend what God has put into our hands for His Glory and Honor. TIME TO BECOME WHAT GOD HAS CALLED YOU AND I TO DO! Are you ready? Call upon the name above all names ,Jesus is His name and give yourself to Him.   Pax Carl
