Turnback to God Many people think that faith is a secret formula for
escaping trials, suffering, and pain. But it's not true. The martyrs
refused to deny their faith even in the midst of sacrifice and
suffering. They experienced emotional and physical anguish and
mistreatment. Even though they were tortured and beaten they endured to
the end, because they knew that faith is not immunity from pain,
and their faith in God would sustain them and strengthen them even
through the deepest, darkest times of their lives! You may never be
called by God to endure what the martyrs endured, but it pleases God for
you to endure, in faith, the trials that come your way. When hardship
comes, trust God! Walk in obedience with Him. He will see you through!
My Thoughts: Because enduring hardships,pain,suffering,abuse
all the garbage we as humans heap on to each other by having Faith in
God you will persevere and walk thru as Daniel and his boys in the
furnace and when you come out the other side you become better,stronger
with a unshakeable,solid belief,Faith,having assurance in Christ,to rely
on Jesus. Pax CH

Trials are a test of our faith. We are being refined just like metal goes through the fire and comes out purer each time. We also have the assurance that we will not be tested beyond what we can bear. This world is full of fair weather friends and then nobody knows you when you are down and out. God wants people that will stick it out through thick and thin. We are making choices right now based on faith. If everything in this world was "honkey dorey", there would be no need for faith. It would be obvious that an invisible force was directing a good "problem free" outcome for everybody. The problems test our faith and it's all working toward our eternal salvation. People are being separated right now into sheep and goats; believers and unbelievers. The unbelievers say in their heart there is no God and justify it by all the injustice and suffering they see in the world. The righteous believer realizes that God is in control and the temporary afflictions are nothing when compared to the glory that is to be revealed in us on our resurrection day and we "carry on as men" in faith.
